Chart-topping chanteuse Meghan Trainor knows that boys like a little more booty to hold at night — but recently, the singer opened up about what beauty feature she likes to have a little more of. And her answer might surprise you: it’s her hair!
According to a January 21 Glamour article, Trainor became hooked on hair extensions and beauty as soon as she first wore them on the set of her “All About That Bass” music video. Before then, she had never been allowed to dye her hair or get extensions, she said.
“It was a whole new world,” she told Glamour. “I felt more powerful. I love my extensions, and I don’t mind talking about them.”
Trainor, who is also the new celebrity face of Clinique, said lengthening her platinum-blonde tresses with hair extension services makes her feel more confident and powerful.
And even though she got famous off a song that embraces loving yourself from the bottom to the top no matter your size, there’s still something to be said about enhancing your natural features to look and feel your best. With hair extensions, anyone can instantly transform their look, add body to hair and reflect their personal style.
Of course, Trainor is far from being the only female celebrity who has developed a hair extension habit. Stars like Jessica Simpson, Demi Lovato and Kylie Jenner loved their sew in hair extensions so much that they even created their own lines of extensions for fans to buy.
“No one talks about it, but everyone’s got ’em,” Trainor said.
That may be true, but it’s clear that Trainor’s lips are movin’ nonstop when it comes to her hair extensions!
